SQUIRE, Anna Elizabeth (Betty) - Passed away at Bluewater Health, Mitton Site on Friday, May 7, 2010 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of Murray Squire for 58 years. Loving mother of Sharon Squire and her husband Scott Hamilton of Stittsville, and Larry Squire and his wife the Rev. Felicia Urbanski of Waterloo. Dear grandmother of Hillary and Evan Hamilton. Predeceased by parents Robert and Ann Allan and brother Robert Allan. Dear sister-in-law of Don & Peggy Squire, Streetsville and Teresa Allan of Bayfield. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families. Betty was a member of Central United Church, the Cana Club and the United Church Women. She was a member of the Retired Teachers of Ontario. She was a past president of the Sarnia Horticulture Society, receiving many prizes for her roses and flowers. She was a member of the Wm. Saunders Rose Society. She enjoyed the Sarnia Photographic Club. After retiring she enjoyed extensive travelling to places like Hawaii, Europe, Greece, Israel, Egypt, Britian, Australia and New Zealand. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Monday, May 10, 2010 from 10-11 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel with the Rev. Christine Jerrett officiating. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Operating Fund of Central United Church, 220 George St., Sarnia, N7T 4N9 or the charity of your choice.
