MICHIELI, Vaniglio – At Bluewater Health, Palliative Care on May 2, 2010, Vaniglio died at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Rina for 61 years. Loving father of Vasco (Nancy), Nilla (Stephen) Lynch and Peter (Tracey). Proud Nonu of Leigh-Ann (Billy), Kirk (Gilda), Dino (Anza), David (Erin), Simon (Jocelyn), Lucas (Amy) and Joseph (Ashleen); and great-grandfather of Ian, Emma, Corey, Brady, Lola, Ruby and Adrina. Dear brother of Pasienta (Guido). Predeceased by his parents Peter and Santina. Vaniglio’s family was “Number One” to him. He was a great dancer, story teller, and enjoyed a nice glass, a good laugh and always greeted everyone with a smile. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Tuesday, May 4th from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday prior to the service from 11- 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Matthew Bedard at St. Benedict’s Church on Wednesday, May 5th at 1:30 p.m. Cremation to follow with a private family interment at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 714 Lite St., Pt.
