Obituary of Paul Alexander MacDougall
MacDOUGALL, Paul Alexander – It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Paul MacDougall announce his peaceful passing into God’s Garden on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the age of 62. Paul will forever be remembered and loved by his wife Lynne, sons James, John (Mary Jo), daughter Sarah (Craig) Dalziel, granddaughters Olyvia and Charlotte, and his four-legged companions, Angus and Tiffany. Dear brother to Mary (the late Jerry) Santavy, Elizabeth (the late Norm) Luther, Lauchie, Steve (Cindy), Anne (Bill) Buckley, Michael (Patti), the late Marcella (Victor) Pellegrini, the late Jayne (Peter) Tollefsen and the late Glen. Predeceased by his parents James and Jessie. Paul also holds a special place in the hearts of John and Audrey Philpott and his many friends. Paul was a retiree of Dow Chemical Canada after 32 years of service. A tremendous hug of thanks for the support from the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Dr. MacKenzie of London, Dr. Kolano, Dr. Dostaler and Dr. Stoesser in Sarnia, as well as nurses Frankie, Margie and Tara. Friends are invited to join in a celebration of Paul’s life at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Thursday, April 22nd from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Matthew Bedard at St. Joseph’s Church, Sarnia on Friday, April 23rd at 10:30 a.m. Private interment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. A tree will be planted in memory of Paul MacDougall in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest. Dedication service Sunday, September 19th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area.
