Obituary of Helen Mae Bauldry
BAULDRY, Helen Mae – Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Monday, February 1, 2010 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Wes Bauldry. Dear sister of Alan (Helen), Kathleen (late Frank) and the late Marjorie. Loved by her nieces and nephews and their children. Helen was born and raised on a farm in Heathcote, Ontario. Her clients, her interest in Arabian Show Horses, and her membership in The Daughters of the Nile, meant that Helen had the priviledge of knowing many people who enriched her life. Helen has been an active member of Omar Temple No. 111 since 1970. Using her energy and business knowledge she was involved in originating and supporting projects that would earn monies to support the Shrine Hospital Canadian Unit. Her source of information and wisdom strengthened the Lambton Daughters of the Nile Club. In 1984 Helen was crowned Queen of Omar Temple and was further honoured by being appointed Supreme Canadian Flag Bearer at the 1996 international conference. Helen Bauldry, Past Queen, was a generous supporter to the special children. May you rest in peace dear Helen. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Friday from 10-11 a.m. The Daughters of the Nile will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home Friday at 11 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11:15 Friday officiated by the Rev. Dr. Gordon J.J. Simmons. Spring interment will take place at Thornbury Clarkesburg Union Cemetery.
