WEAVER (Hillier), Elma Elizabeth – Peacefully at Marshall Gowland Manor on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, Elma died at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Wallace. Loving mother of Calvin and his wife Marilyn Weaver, Sarnia. Anita and her husband Harold Dowswell, London, Myrna and her husband William Bennett, Sarnia, Shirley and her husband Scott Milner, Kitchener, and Linda Weaver, Sarnia. Proud grandmother of the late Calene, Robyn (Jim), Holly (Greg), Carla (John), Maureen (Brad), Paul (Janis), Lori (Tom), Lisa (Grant), late Lynn, Jonathan, Debra (Ken), Julie (Mark), Jayne (Mark) and John (Cheryl) great-grandmother of twenty-one and great-great-grandmother of 3. Predeceased by her parents Lillie and Adelfred Hillier, brother Carl Hillier, sister Muriel Montgomery and son-in-law Ben Van Huizen. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Elma’s life will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Christine Jerrett officiating. Interment Lakeview Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to Sarnia Humane Society, 131 Exmouth St., N7T 7W8 or the charity of their choice. A tree will be planted in memory of Elma Weaver in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest. Dedication service Sunday, September 19th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area.
