Obituary of Giulio Giuliani

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, GIULIO GIULIANI at Bluewater Health Centre, on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at the age of 92, beloved husband of the late Pierina (nee Cimetta). He will be greatly missed by his family: daughter, Domenica Rastin and her husband Chris of Sarnia, daughter Antonetta Bailie and her husband John of Toronto, and grandchildren, Julianne, Christina, Clara, Catherine, Phillip, David and Joanna. Predeceased by his parents and siblings. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Giulio was born in Navelli, Italy in 1922, and came to Canada in 1954. He was happy to work in the auto industry at Holmes Foundry for many years and was a member of the local UAW. Giulio had a great love for his family and his faith. He was a longstanding member of St. Peter's Church. He cultivated an extensive garden and had a gift for storytelling. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his grandchildren and family. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Monday July 28, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Vince Guilikers at Saint Michael's Church, Bright's Grove on Tuesday, July 29, at 11:00 a.m. Entombment at Our Lady of Mercy Mausoleum.
