BURKE, John – At home with family by his side, John died on Friday, October 2, 2009 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Betty for 48 years. Loving father of Paul and Carolyn, Liz and Mike, John and Tara. Proud granda of Cory and Heather Burke, Keely and Burke Roszell, and Sam Burke. Predeceased by his brother Sammy Burke. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Tom Lever at Sacred Heart Church on Thursday, October 8th at 11 a.m. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 714 Lite St., Pt. Edward N7V 1A6 or the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Sarnia-Lambton Chapter, 546 N. Christina St., Sarnia N7T 5W6.
