PETRONSKI, Frank Joseph “Herb” – At Bluewater Health, Palliative Care, on Thursday, September 3, 2009, Frank died peacefully with his family by his side at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Eva (Oreskovich) for 56 years. Loving father of Helen Petronski, David and his wife Kathryn Petronski, and the late Angela Dufour (2004). Devoted grandfather of Tate and Tess Petronski, Cameron and Erin Dufour. Dear brother of Olga (Bill) Howchuk, Ed (Pat) Petronski and brother-in-law of Bruce Brock, Marco (Lois) Oreskovich, Mary Resk, and Danny (Cathy) Oreskovich. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Mary and John Petronski, brother Stan Petronski and sister Marion Brock. You were the Chairman of the Family, King among men. Your list of titles was longer than Donald Trumps. Forever you will be our Husband, Dad, Didi, Brother, Uncle and Friend. Not to be forgotten are Director of Transportation, V.P. in Charge of Supporting Sports, President of Building & Renovations and last but not least, Pro Golfer Wannabe. Our most sincere thanks go to Drs. Gamble and Yoshida and special thanks to Dr. Maddison and the nursing staff of Palliative Care for their compassionate care of Frank in his final days. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, on Monday, September 7th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Len Desjardins at Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday, September 8th at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow with a private family interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Inn of the Good Shepherd, 115 John St., Sarnia N7T 2R1 or St. Joseph’s Hospice, 110 Water St., Sarnia N7T 5T5.
