Obituary of Hilda Marie Godin

GODIN, Hilda Marie - Surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at the age of 60. Devoted daughter of Bengie Dow & his dear friend Jeanne LeBelle, Sarnia. Predeceased by parents Gerard & Anne-Marie Godin, infant brother Paul and infant twin sister Edna. Loving mother of Timothy & his wife Daina Silk, Sarnia and Alina & her husband Christopher Paterson, Sarnia. Proud grandmother of Madison Ann Marie Paterson and Daniel James Silk. Dear sister of Evelyn & Tom White, Sarnia, Rene Godin, Beijing, and Richard & Karen Godin, Sarnia. A very special aunt to Bill, Michelle, Joline and their families, Tim, Jess, Mimi and Bonnie. Step-mother of Mark and Eric Thompson and Laurie Haygarth and their families. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in Sarnia, Montreal and New Brunswick. Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Maddison, Blaine McLellan and Kim Pepper for their outstanding care and devotion. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Thursday, September 3 from 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Hilda's life will be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 4 at 11 a.m. and will be officiated by Allan McKeown.
