HATZISAVVAS, Anastasia – At Bluewater Health, Norman Site on Sunday, August 9, 2009, Anastasia died at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Anestis (1993). Loving mother of five children, Prime (Evangelos) Katalifos, Despina (Rev. Fr. George Giannios), Stergos (Despina), Savvas (Valsamina) and Nick (Maria). Proud Yiaya to thirteen grandchildren, Anastasia, Terry, Athena, Tsambika, Anastasia, Mihalista, Yiorgos, Anestis, Katholike, George, Anestis, Dimitris and Savvas. Anastasia was a hardworking and loving mother who always had a smile. “Mama Milano” will be remembered by her many friends and customers of the former Milano Submarine at 539 N. Christina St., which she owned for over 25 years with her loving husband Anestis. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Wednesday, August 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers be offered at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 1299 Murphy Rd., (north of Michigan Ave.), Sarnia on Thursday, August 13th at 12 p.m. and will be officiated by Rev. Fr. Demetre Mouselimis. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 714 Lite St., Pt.
