Obituary of Clara Anna Dixon

DIXON (VANDENBOGAERDE), Clara Anna – At Trillium Villa Nursing Home on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, Clara died at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Al Dixon (1984). Predeceased by her parents Joseph (1968) and Maria (1967) Vandenbogaerde, brother Gustaff (1986), sister Marguerite (1994) and brother James (1993). Survived by sister-in-law Helen Vandenbogaerde and several nieces and nephews. Clara retired from Prestolite after many years of service and enjoyed her bridge club. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, on Friday from 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Len Desjardins at Sacred Heart Church on Saturday, July 25th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wyoming. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to a charity of their choice.
