GARRICK, “Kay” Kathleen (Mullen) – At Marshall Gowland Manor, Sarnia, on Monday, July 13, 2009, Kay died 11 days short of her 93rd birthday. Beloved wife of the late Peter Garrick (1996). Kay was predeceased by her brothers Dan, Pat, Frank, and John Mullen, and her sisters Mary Burns and Ellen Elizabeth. Survived by many nieces & nephews and their children, and sister-in-law Lorraine Mullen. Cherished friend and aunt of Rita Burns who lovingly cared for Kay for many years. Kay was a long time employee for Muller Brass, a member of the CWL for 59 years and had a passion for gardening and music. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, on Friday from 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church on Saturday, July 18th at 11 a.m. by Fr. Len Desjardins. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to a charity of their choice. Dedication service Sunday, September 20th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area.
