MONTEATH, JEAN – Peacefully surrounded by her family at Bluewater Health – Palliative Care on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Alan (1989). Dear mother of Dorothy (Pierre) Leger, Beverly (Danny) Brodie, Laurie (Dru) Addison and Kimberley (Kevin) Dunn. Loving grandmother of Alan (Nancy) Lee Ann (Jeff), Chris (Kathy), Craig (Armanda), Matthew, Brett, Breanne (Luke), Ashley and Tanner. Great-grandmother of Emma, Nicolas, Jillian, Nathan, Katherine, Logan, Ty, Chase and Reed. Sister of Keith (Pat) Thompson, Peggy (Bill) Scott. Also surviving are several nieces & nephews. Predeceased by sister Dorothy Baker. Special thanks from Jean’s family to Dr. Glen Maddison, Ellen Purvis and the nurses at Palliative Care for the loving care given to our Mom. A private family service celebrating Jean’s life will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Wednesday.
