BEAUCHAMP, Gilberte Carmen (St. Amour) – It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother, who was surrounded by her loving family at Trillium Villa Nursing Home on Thursday, July 9, 2009. Gilberte was the devoted wife to the late Dolly Beauchamp (2006) for over 60 years. Mother of the late Marc (1962). Beloved mother of Diane Passingham and husband Wayne of Sarnia, Rita Maitland of Sarnia, Claude Beauchamp and wife Alece of California, Guy Beauchamp of Montreal and Lise Kuzmich of Binbrook. Dear sister of Lucille Crawley of Orillia and sister-in-law to Dede Cook of Sarnia, Jackie Cadieux of Point Edward, Guy Beauchamp of Port Huron, Raymond Beauchamp of Corunna and Jacques Beauchamp of Bright's Grove. Loving mémère to Jane Ross of Sarnia, Dwayne Passingham and wife Kellie of Red Deer, Alberta, Mark Maitland and wife Sherry, Mike Maitland and wife Sonya, Todd Maitland, all of Sarnia and Whitney and Brendan Beauchamp of California. Great-grandmother to Mackenzie Ross, Ryan and Adam Maitland, Erin and Ethan Maitland, Austin, Brianna and Leigha Maitland. Predeceased by her parents Armand and Emma St. Amour, brothers Raymond and Eloi St. Amour and sister Claire Marcoux. Gilberte was born on June 27, 1925 in Verner, Ontario where she spent her youth until her marriage to Dollard on October 1, 1945. They moved to Bluewater, Ontario where they started their new life together and shortly thereafter, they started their family. In 1961, they moved to Sarnia Township to continue the raising of their family and lived there until 2004. Gilberte’s family was her main focus all of her life. Gilberte will be greatly missed by her entire family. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 2:15 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Terence Runstedler at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Monday, July 13, 2009 at 10 a.m. Entombment Our Lady of Mercy Mausoleum. As an expression of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Sarnia-Lambton, Chris Dawson Centre, 420 N. East St., Suite 8, Sarnia N7T 6Y5.
