Obituary of B. Marie Wells

WELLS, B. Marie – At Bluewater Health, Norman Site on Monday, July 6, 2009, Marie died at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Ted Wells for 61 years. Loving mother of Peter Wells and his wife Sue Hunter, Markham, Matthew Wells, Collingwood and Thomas and his wife Muriel Wells, Vancouver. Proud grandmother of Katie, John, Jennifer, Andrew, Jake, Grace and Laura. Predeceased by her parents Beatrice and Wallace Embury and brother Jack H. C. Embury, killed in action RCAF, WWII, Nov 17, 1942 and her sister Grace J. Anderson. Marie was a longtime member of Central United Church, the Strangway Bible Study, and taught in the Sunday School. The family wish to thank the nurses and staff of 4NCC Bluewater Health, Norman Site and Dr. Stoesser for their compassion and care. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Friday, July 10th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 11th at 1 p.m. and will be officiated by Rev. Don Lockett. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Corbyville. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to Central United Church, 220 George St., Sarnia N7T 4N9.
