Obituary of Phyllis Audrey Dunn

DUNN, Phyllis Audrey (nee Lowham) – Peacefully at Marshall Gowland Manor on Sunday, April 5, 2009, Phyllis passed away at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Dr. John Dunn for over 46 years. Loving mother of Christopher (Blanche) Dunn, Ottawa, Naomi Dunn, London, Malcolm Dunn, Sarnia, and Robert (Ruth) Dunn, Corunna. Cherished grandmother of Sheila (Dave) Spence, Teresa Singleton (Christopher Corey), Paul Clark (Melanie Auger), Jonathan Dunn, Krystal Dunn, Rachanne Dunn, and Rayneata Dunn. Great-grandmother of Jordan Dunn, Talia Spence, and Emma Corey. Dear sister of Mary (George) Soper, and sister-in-law of Earl Spano. Predeceased by her parents Janeanne and Herbert Lowham, brother Herbert (Connie) Lowham and sister Gwynneth Spano. The family would like to thank the staff of the Iris Unit at Marshall Gowland Manor for their love and care of mom. Visitation at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church. Cremation to follow with interment Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa, at a later date. As an expression of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church, 718 Cathcart Blvd., Sarnia, ON, N7V 2N5 or the Inn of the Good Shepherd, 115 John St., Sarnia N7T 2R1. A tree will be planted in memory of Phyllis Dunn in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest. Dedication service Sunday, September 20th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area.
