Obituary of Evelyn Ester Bissonnette

BISSONNETTE, Evelyn – After a long and full life, Evelyn graciously passed just prior to her 96th birthday at Bluewater Health, Mitton Site on January 10, 2009. Born January 25, 1913, she is predeceased by her husband Zephere Bissonnette, son Vernon Bissonnette, daughter Ariel Glombowski and 9 brothers and sisters. Survived by son Raymond Bissonnette & wife Shirley, daughters Hildred LeFaive and Louella McGirr and sister Dorothy Dubreuil, all of Sarnia. Loving grandmother of 21 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren. An avid fisherwoman and nature lover, she spent her summers in Algonquin Park where she worked and enjoyed life in her fruitful years. A private family service was held with interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 344-3131. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the charity of their choice.
