INNOCENTE, Anastasia – Peacefully, surrounded by her family after an 8 month battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma at Bluewater Health – Mitton Site on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of Americo for 64 years. Dear mother of Dolores Ferber & her husband George, China Twp., Michigan, Marisa Innocente, Sarnia and the late Silvana Innocente-Niehof. Loving grandmother of Cyndi Ferber, Royal Oak, Michigan and Christopher Ferber, Sterling Heights, Michigan. Also surviving are family in Windsor, Toronto, Italy, Australia and Sweden. Anastasia was a member of the Italian Catholic Women’s League at St. Peter’s Church. She will be greatly missed by all her family and dear friends. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Z. Rodzinka at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 30 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. Entombment Our Lady of Mercy Mausoleum. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society – Lymphoma Research, 714 Lite St., Point Edward, N7V 1A6.
