McDOUGALL, (HARRIS) Florence May – At Bluewater Health – Palliative Care on Wednesday, June 17, 2009, Florence passed away with her family at her side at the age of 75. Cherished wife and best friend of the late Alexander (Sandy) McDougall (2008). Much loved mother of the late Harold, Alexander & his wife Gayle, Margret Kirkpatrick, Robert (Bobby), Paul & his wife Marie and Linda Masters & her husband Mike. She is survived by a legacy of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Florence was born in New Waterford, Cape Breton in 1932 and was the daughter of Patience Annie & Cecil James Harris. She attended Mount Carmel Catholic School. The family lived on Maple Hill. The family moved to Toronto in 1947 but their hearts were always in Cape Breton. Many vacations were spent visiting good friends and family from their home town. A cemetery remembrance service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery on Saturday, June 20 at 12 noon. Arrangements by McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, Sarnia, Ontario, 519-344-3131.
