Obituary of Francesco Roncone

RONCONE, Francesco – With family by his side at Bluewater Health, Norman Site, Francesco died on February 25, 2009, at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Mariantonia for 51 years. Loving father of Luisa and her husband Carmelo Restivo, Dario Roncone, and his beloved son, the late Antonio. Proud Nonno of Maria, Antonietta and Pietro Restivo. Dear brother of Alberto (Emilia), Emilio (Dora), Pasquale (Giovanna), Anna (Mario) DiMurro, Raffaele (Giovanna). Brother-in-law of Maria Roncone, Emilio (Margherita) Panaccione and Nicola (Lucia) Panaccione. Survived by many nieces and nephews in North America and Europe. Predeceased by his parents, brother Michele and niece Lisa Roncone. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Len Desjardins at Sacred Heart Church, 1465 Lecaron Ave., Sarnia on Saturday, February 28th at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Mausoleum.
