Obituary of Robert Elliot Young

YOUNG, Robert Elliot – At Afton Park Place on Thursday, January 22, 2009, Robert died at the age of 81. Beloved husband of the late Helen Ann (1997). Loving father of Dillon (Teresa), Bill (Debby), Dan (Sandi), Mike (Julie), Debbie Voden all of Sarnia and Marnie (Juan) Balbuena of Miami, and the late Sue. Dear brother of Russell (June) Young. Proud grandfather of Dillon, Shannon, Jeffrey, Cassandra, Jody, Adam, Dustin, Chelsea, Thomas, Jennifer, Bob, Lindsay, Sharon, Richard, Sarah, Stephanie, Nicolas and Alexander. Great-grandfather of Helen, Darius, Joey, Madison and Oakley. Robert retired from Dow Chemical in 1992 after 35 years of service. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N. on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private committal service will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.
