DUCHESNEAU, STANLEY ROGER – Suddenly at Bluewater Health – Mitton Site on Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Carole. Dear father of Tyler Duchesneau, Montreal and Todd (Jenna) Duchesneau, Montreal. Step-father of Benoit (Shanda) Bouchard, Okotoks, Ab., Christian (Monica) Bouchard, Worcester, Mass. and Carine Bouchard, Brampton. Loving grandfather of Bradley, Bethany, Magdalene, Kaitlyn, Catherine and Aaron. Brother of Helen (Harold) Griffin, Montreal, Jim (Gail) Duchesneau, Hamilton and Claire Duchesneau, Montreal. Predeceased by parents Abbe & Lily Duchesneau. Stanley taught high school in Pointe Claire for over 30 years prior to moving to Sarnia in 2004. He contributed his musical talents to the seniors in nursing homes and various church organizations. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 2:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Joseph Snyder at St. Michael’s Church (Bright’s Grove) on Monday at 11:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. A tree will be planted in memory of Stanley Duchesneau in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest. Dedication service Sunday, September 20th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area.
