Obituary of Joseph Storozuk

STOROZUK, Joseph (Joe) – At Sumac Lodge on Friday, December 12, 2008, Joe died at the age of 95. Beloved husband of the late Mary (April 28, 2001). Loving father of Elsie (Doug) Elrick, Joyce (Mike) Godwin of Surrey, BC, and John (Pam) Storozuk. Proud Deda of Michael (Jodi) Godwin, Julie Godwin (Kevin Noye) and Colin (Michelle) Godwin, Brian (Melanie) Tetreault, Mike (Jeanette) Marshall, Robert Storozuk and Kevin (Tamara) Storozuk, Scott Elrick and Tammy McKay; and Great-Deda of Katie, Connor and Cameron Godwin-Noye, Jessica and Travis Tetreault, Syndal and Kayla Bradshaw, Jerica and Michael Godwin, Quinn Godwin, Jim, Mat and Joe Marshall, Gavin and Garrett Storozuk, and Misty and Kyle McKay. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Mary and Sam Storozuk, great-granddaughter Shayla Godwin, brothers Mike and Peter Storozuk, sisters Annie Zytaruk and Mary Minda. Joe was a longtime member of St. George’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, worked for the City of Sarnia and has been retired for 38 years. Private funeral services have been entrusted to the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 519-344-3131. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
