CURRAN, HARRY HOMER – Peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Clara (Johnston) for 60 years. Dear father of Jeffrey (Litza), Mitchell’s Bay and David, Point Edward. Loving grandfather of Chris & Irene Curran and Kyle Curran and their mother Mary Lou. Uncle of Michelle Curran, North Bay. Predeceased by brothers Charles and Cliff and dear family friend Helen (Teak) Parker, Petrolia. Harry served with the Canadian Armed Forces during W.W. II and was an active member of the Point Edward Ex-Serviceman’s Association. He retired from Polysar in 1988 after 42 years of service. Harry was involved with Sarnia New Voice Association for over 18 years. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N. on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel on Friday at 1 p.m. officiated by the Rev. Dr. Brad Morrison. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the charity of their choice.
