BELL (MALLOY), Marie – Peacefully surrounded by loving family and friends at Bluewater Health – Palliative Care on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at the age of 57. Beloved wife of Bill. Dear mother of Nortina Bell (Billy Maguire) of Dresden. Grandmother of Ashleigh, Morgan and Kahla. Sister of Bill Malloy (Jane) of Keswick, their children Sarah Curnew (Perry), Adam (Stella), Matthew, Kelly and David Malloy, Bob Malloy (Janice) of Kitchener, their son Kyle, and Pat Malloy-Laframboise (Frank Lawhorn) of Point Edward. Special friend of Margaret Potter, Lynn Walsh, Suzanne Oliver, Marianne Bell and Susan Shiver. Predeceased by her parents Ambrose & Margaret Malloy. Marie worked at Bell Canada on Lochiel St., Sarnia, retiring in 2003 after 25 years. Marie always enjoyed the fun, travel and companionship with her sorority sisters from Beta Sigma Phi. The family deeply appreciates the excellent care of the palliative care unit and of Dr. Dostaler, Dr.Yoshida and Dr.Arnold. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Matthew Bedard at St. Benedict’s Church on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada, 118 Victoria St. N., Sarnia, N7T 5W9 or the Canadian Cancer Society, 714 Lite St., Point Edward, N7V 1A6.
