Obituary of Gina Maria D'Angela

D’ANGELA, Gina Maria - At Bluewater Health, Mitton Site, on Thursday, November 6, 2008, Gina peacefully passed away with family by her side at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Giuseppe for 63 years. Loved mother of Dario (Patricia) D'Angela, Maria (the late Fiore) DiRezze, Iole (Italo) Sepe, Lidia (Honore) D'Angela, and John (Patricia) D'Angela. Proud grandma of Joe, Tony, Michelle D'Angela; Sandra, Paul, and Laura DiRezze; Lisa, Melissa, John, and Mark Sepe; Ginette, Nadine, Adrian, Justin, and Danielle D'Angela; and Tiffany and Annisa D'Angela; and great-grandma of 15. Dear sister of Amalia (the late Ulderico) Liegghio, Tullio (Antionetta) Petrilli, and Clara (the late Mike) Vennettilli; and sister-in-law of the late Tulio (Iolanda) D'Angela, Valentino (Gina) D'Angela, Benito (Maria) D'Angela, Francesco (Domenica) D'Angela, Idia D'Angela, and Marietta (the late Angelo) Vitti. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the Red Cross, Bluewater Health and all of Gina’s caregivers for their loving care. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jim Higgins at St. Benedict’s Church on Monday, November 10th at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Mausoleum.
