Obituary of Christina Ethel Savoy

SAVOY, CHRISTINA ETHEL – Died peacefully at Bluewater Health – Mitton Site on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at the age of 104. Beloved wife of the late Fredrick Savoy. Dear mother of Octavia Savoy, Jacqueline Maness and the late Joseph, Mabel, Mary and Edith. Also surviving are many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and 1 great-great-great grandson. Christina was a loving grandmother to all of her family and was a member of the Catholic Women’s League. She was loved and will be greatly missed by her great-great grandchildren Lacey, Corey and Kailey. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St. on Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Matthew Bedard at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery, Windsor.
