BISHOP, Jacqueline Theresa – At Bluewater Health, Mitton Site on Friday, August 1, 2008, Jacqueline died at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Dennis Bishop for 51 years. Loving mother of Monica Bishop and her husband Vincent Winters, working internationally, Michael Bishop of Sarnia and Donald and his wife Tricia Bishop of Ottawa. Proud grandmother of Glen and Madison. Dear sister of Gerald and his wife Lillian Cormier of Moncton, Marilyn and her husband Jim Terry of Moncton, Lorena Cormier of Toronto, and Dianne and her husband Tony Baker of Moncton. Predeceased by her parents Emerice and Ralph Cormier. Jacqueline was a member of the CWL and choir at St. Benedict’s Church and a volunteer with St. Joseph’s hospital for many years. Special thanks to Dr. Richard Cheong and the nurses at 4NA for their exceptional care and compassion. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jim Higgins at St. Benedict’s Church on Wednesday, August 6th at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow with a private family interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 774 London Rd., Sarnia N7T 4Y1 A tree will be planted in memory of Jacqueline Bishop in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest. Dedication service Sunday, September 21st, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area.
