Obituary of Germaine Isabelle Thomson

THOMSON, “Jerry” Germaine Isabelle – At Sumac Lodge on Wednesday, July 30, 2008, Germaine died at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Allan Thomson (1995). Loving mother of Claudia and her husband Ronald Mills, Diane and her husband Rene Croteau of Washington State, and the late George Thomson. Dear grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Predeceased by her parents Delosa and Joseph Nadon, brothers Ernest, George and Claude Nadon, and her sister Jeanette Evans. Jerry graduated from St. Michael’s School of Nursing in Toronto in 1933 and worked as a nurse for many years. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, Monday from 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church (Rosedale & Ellwood) on Tuesday, August 5th at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow with a private family entombment at Our Lady of Mercy Mausoleum at a later date.
