Obituary of David "Tait" Elliott Clarke

CLARKE, David "Tait" Elliott - At Parkwood Hospital in London on Monday, July 14, 2008, Tait died at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Ilene. Loving father of David Clarke and his wife Jo-Anne, Edmonton, Louise & her husband Jim Blumer, Brantford and Susan, Hastings. Proud grandfather of Shannon Clarke, Jay Budd and his wife Edith and Emily Budd. Dear brother of Bruce and Sally, Tom and Eloise, Dorothy Hudak and Betty Lou Larson. Loved son of Valeria Clarke. Predeceased by his grandson David Allan William Clarke. Tait was a Professional Gunnery Instructor (November 1939-June 1945), a Chief Petty Officer, and a member of the Royal Canadian Navy (21 years and 4 months in service) and a member of Dawn Valley Bible Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Wednesday, July 16th at 2 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Veteran's Facility of Parkwood Hospital, 801 Commissioners Rd.
