Obituary of Manuel Joaquim Rodrigues

RODRIGUES, MANUEL JOAQUIM (MANNY) – Peacefully surrounded by his family, Manny died at Bluewater Health – Palliative Care on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Maria. Dear father of Avelino (Abby) & his wife Janice, Sarnia and Armando, Burlington. Loving grandfather of Emily and Michael. Brother of Adriano & his wife Alzira, Portugal. Manny worked at Imperial Oil for 23 years. He spent his retirement years doing the things he enjoyed, especially fishing. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will offered at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jim Higgins at St. Benedict’s Church on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
