Obituary of Aarre Kivi

KIVI, Aarre – Died at Vision Nursing Home on Tuesday, May 13, 2008. Mr. Kivi was born on August 13, 1918 in Sudbury, Ontario. He worked for many years as an electrical foreman for the Spruce Falls Power and Paper Company in Kapuskasing, Ontario. Mr. Kivi was predeceased by his wives Elina Wuori and Pipsa Parkinen. He is survived by three sons: John (Sandy) of Calgary, Allan (Sharon) of Toronto and Bill (Peggy) of Sarnia. He is also survived by grandchildren Derek (Bobbi), Jeremy and Aaron as well as great grandchildren Sofia and Ella. He is also survived by sister-in-law Sirkka Korpinen of Kincardine. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in Kapuskasing in August. Arrangements entrusted to McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre in Sarnia, Ontario, 519-344-3131.
