DAMPHOUSE (nee Woodward), HAZEL ELIZABETH ELLEN – Peacefully on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Aurora Resthaven, formerly of Petrolia, with family and caregivers at her side at the age of 81. Predeceased by her beloved husband Louis Damphouse (1998). Cherished mother of Patricia Damphouse (Terry Verity), Aurora, Maureen Woodward, Windsor, Denise Damphouse, Newmarket, Joanne DiBattista (Tino), Sarnia and Marianne Brown (Dennis), Strathroy. Loving grandmother of Justin, Jocelyne and Julian Verity, Carla, Kyrsten and Ashley Firby, Jared, Brittany and Trevor Nolan, Michael, Brent and Tyler DiBattista and Amelia and Nathaniel Brown. Dear sister-in-law of Anna & Adelord Chaput, Comber, Theresa Laliberte and Rita & Don Pare, Tilbury. Predeceased by parents Alfred (1960) and Amelia (1971) Woodward, brother Charles Woodward (R.C.A.F 1942) and granddaughter Lindsay DiBattista (1996). Special friend of caregiver and companion Isabella. Sincere thanks to Isabella and the wonderful staff at Aurora Resthaven for their loving care. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St., N., Sarnia on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. officiated by Fr. Jim Higgins. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
