MacLEAN (STURGEON), GENEVIEVE, MARIE – Peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late John A. MacLean. Dear mother of Bill MacLean & his wife Jan, Toronto and Julie MacLean, Dallas, Texas. Loving grandmother of Ian (Amber) MacLean, Newmarket, Heidi (Jay) Price, Fort Worth, Texas, Heather Hedgren, Dallas, Texas and James Moffatt, Dallas, Texas. Great-grandmother of Joshua Price and Janei Price, Fort Worth Texas. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews including Jim, Pat and Ray MacLean. She was the youngest of 7 children. Predeceased by brothers Bill, George, Al, Ron and Ray Sturgeon and sister Rachel MacLean. Jenny was a faithful member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Sarnia where she sang in the choir. She was a secretary for Pensioners Concerned for many years, working for them past her 80th birthday. A family service was held at Lakeview Cemetery on Thursday, April 17. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation, 774 London Rd., Sarnia, N7T 4Y1. Arrangements entrusted to THE McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, (519-344-3131).
