SMALL, JEAN LOIS (JOHNSON) – At St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton on Thursday, March 20, 2008, Jean died at the age of 82, of Sarnia, formerly of Beachburg. Beloved wife of Richard, Sarnia. Dear mother of Virginia (Greg) Galipeau, Sarnia, and Dr. David Small (Diane), Ancaster. Loving grandmother of Christopher, Heather and Cameron Galipeau and Geoffrey, Valerie, Gillian, Andrea and Michael Small. Sister of Phyllis Johnson, Beachburg. Predeceased by parents J. Alvin Johnson & Elsie (Griese), sister Nora Vincent and brother Jack Johnson. Jean was actively involved for many years with the Sarnia Y.M.C.A. , the University Women’s Club, and the Canadian Cancer Society. Special thanks to the caring nurses on URO/GYN at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton and to Drs. Achong, Woods and Whelan for their compassionate care. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9. The memorial service will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel on Tuesday at 1 p.m. officiated by The Rev. James Small.
