Obituary of Josephine Malarchuk

Malarchuk, Josephine ("Jo") - in her 92nd year passed away peacefully at Vision Nursing Home on Saturday, March 8th, 2008. As a resident of Point Edward for almost fifty years, she was a member of St. Edward the Confessor and also Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred in 2007; a sister Helen Urchyshyn; a sister Natie Kilbreath; and dear brother Philip Frenkowski. Survivors include her daughter Judith Ellsworth and son-in-law Gerald Ellsworth of Ormond Beach, Florida; a granddaughter Erika Leigh of Jacksonville, Florida; a sister-in-law Mary Evanoff of Toronto; a sister-in-law Marie Frenkowski of Sarnia and many loving nieces and nephews. The family extends a special thank you to long time friend Anne Dachnowski, Marie Frenkowski and Michael Kilbreath for all their kindness: special friend Sheila Thompson and the staff of Vision Nursing Home. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia on Saturday from 10:30 until time of service. The funeral service will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Fr. Matthew Bedard.
