Dear Aunt Gloria and family:
Debbie,Raquel and I are very saddened by the passing of Uncle Johnny, my Godfather. Although our hearts are very heavy now, I think back to many times as a boy and man, the pleasure I had being in his company. I smile now thinking of the slow, gentle way he spoke. His "hi Kev" was spoken so kindly that you couldn't help but smile and relish in the moment.
Although we cannot be there in person due to work commitments, we are there with you in spirit. Our prayers and condolences are for you and family. Please take care of yourself, just as he would want you to do.
Love,
Kevin, Debbie and Raquel

I would like to say to all of Uncle Johnny's family how very saddened I was to hear of his passing. Uncle Johnny was a very kind and caring Uncle and I have many fond memories from my childhood thanks to his caring nature. I remember going for walks, swimming and playing with him and how much fun he always made everything for us. I know he loved his family more than anything else in this life and my heart breaks for each and everyone of you. I hope you can find comfort in the fact that he lived a full and blessed life and know that many hearts break at his loss. He is in my prayers as are all of you. Good-bye Uncle Johnny....till we meet again....love to all..Alice and family.

Our hearts go out to the extended Bernard family on the loss of an inspired patriarch. It's a very difficult thing losing a parent, and tougher still when they were special. Be happy that it is hard to deal with, because that means you had something special, as we know you did in Johnny.
