Obituary of Denis Lozier

LOZIER, Denis – With loving family by his side at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Monday, December 13, 2010, Denis surrendered to lung cancer at the age of 64.  Beloved husband of Alma for 39 years.  Loving father of Andrew and his wife Stacey and Laura and her husband Rick Nemeth.  Proud grandpa of Danielle and Kyla Nemeth.  Cherished brother of Stella MacLachlan, Albert (Andrea), Leo (Margaret), Pierrette Campbell, Gilbert (Mary), Diane VanHoof and Lynda Rivers; and brother-in-law of Alan (Eleazar) Lee.  Dear son-in-law of Anja Nykanen and nephew of Marcelle Lehtonen.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Denis’ most cherished memories included the times he shared with his family, especially his granddaughters.  Friends will be received at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 429 Indian Rd. N. (at Hickory) on Friday, December 17th from 10-11 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Roger Ellis officiating.  Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 519-344-3131.
