DYSON, Gerald Wilfred – Suddenly at home on Monday, December 20, 2010, Gerald passed away at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Diane. Dear father of Jeannette (Gary) Wicks, London, Marlene (Mike) Desroches, Point Edward and Philip (Amy) Dyson, Cambridge. Loving grandfather of Chris (Chelsea), Brad, Aaron and Jeffrey Wicks, Natasha, Anastasia and Mikayla Desroches and Danny, Jacob and Gregory Dyson. Brother of Deirdre (Bob) Humston-Coates, Blue Point, Colette (Eli) Kocso, Corunna and adopted sister Jane Caron, B.C. Brother-in-law of Jean Stonehouse.  Predeceased by parents Wilfred & Molly Dyson and by niece Terry Ager (Stonehouse). Gerald will be sadly missed by his “best friend” Sadie (Pup-Pup) as well as his many nieces, nephews, cousins and Auntie Joan. Gerald retired from Lanxess in November of 2008 after many years of service. The family would like to thank Dr. Monique Dostaler, Dr. Michael O’Mahoney and the staff of V.O.N. who so lovingly cared for Gerald during his illness. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Peter Keller at Sacred Heart Church on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, 475 N.
