Obituary of Pauline Frances Dixon
DIXON, Pauline – Peacefully at Fiddick's Nursing Home, Petrolia on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of James. Dear mother of Richard (Michelle) Dixon, Manotick. Loving grandmother of Micaela and Harrison. Pauline is survived by her sister Roseanne (Dolly) Robinson, her sisters-in-law, Fern (late Joseph) Gormley and Lois(late Roy) Dixon, as well as many nieces, nephews, Godchildren and good friends. Pauline was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Rose Guenot; parents-in-law, John and Sadie Dixon; sisters-in-law Jean Lester and Mary Shepard as well as brothers-in-law, Dick Robinson, Gerry Shepard and Harvey Lester. Pauline was very active with her Sacred Heart Church Community for decades including over 60 years with the Catholic Women's League. Visitation will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Vince Gulikers at Sacred Heart Church on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. Interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
