Obituary of Edward William Bayduk

BAYDUK, Edward William – At Bluewater Health on Sunday, December 26, 2010 Edward died peacefully with family by his side at the age of 81.  Beloved husband and best friend of Jean for 59 years.  Loving father of Lynda (Graham) Stewart, Bruce (Nancy), Bob, Sandra (Gord Speirs) and Barbara (Rob) Lim.  Proud “Grampa” of Natasha, Tonya, Ivan, Alex, Robyn, Noah and Lauryn.  Dear brother-in-law of Mary Bayduk, Mary Sills, Tina Rupert, Jim (Sandy) Harnett and John (Freida) Harnett.  Uncle to Larry, Cameron, the late David (Barb) and cousin of Judy Pietrykowski.  Also survived several extended family members.  Predeceased by his parents Ivan and Alexandra and his brother Ivan.  Edward retired from Polysar/Nova in 1986 after 36 years of service.  He played football and baseball and coached baseball for many years.  Special thanks to the ICU staff for their care and compassion.  Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 3:30 p.m.  A Celebration of Edward’s life will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 30th at 1 p.m. with Fr. Antony Kolenchery officiating.  Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to Bluewater Health, 89 Norman St., Sarnia  N7T 6S3 or St. Joseph’s Hospice, 475 N.
