Obituary of John Frank Prisciak

PRISCIAK, John – Peacefully and surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, January 26, 2011, John Frank Prisciak, age 80.   Beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee Stefanko); much loved father of John Jr. (Linda), Barbara (Wayne); cherished papa of Jaclyn and Brittany; and dear brother of Mary (Bud) Young and brother-in-law of Caroline Prisciak.  Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.  Predeceased by his parents John and Katerina and brother Joe.  John was the world’s best mechanic and was a retiree of Polysar where he worked for 29 years.  The family would like to thank the staff at Marshall Gowland Manor for their kindness and care to John.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Waclaw Chudy at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church on Saturday, January 29th at 11 a.m.  Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 519-344-3131.  As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the VON, 1705 London Line, Sarnia  N7W 1B4.  A tree will be planted in memory of John Prisciak in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest. Dedication service Sunday, September 18th, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area
