Obituary of Rose Hayes

HAYES, Rose (Jangula) – Passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at the age of 89 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.  Beloved wife of the late James (Jim) Edward Hayes (1999) and mother of Gary (Jill) Hayes. Loving grandmother to Heather (nee Hayes) and her husband Ian Brown; Trevor, Aaron and Adam Hayes and doting great grandmother to Ethan Brown. Rose is survived by her loving sisters Barbara Lassaline (Sarnia) and Eva Becker (Alberta). Rose is predeceased by her son Murray, her grandson Timothy, her brother John Jangula and sisters Lill Puzzie, Carol Amundson, Leone Amundson, Mary Pachal, Helen Schmidt and Ann Gagne. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on THURSDAY 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service in celebration of Rose’s life will be held at the funeral home on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
