Obituary of Helen Cusson

CUSSON, Helen Marie (1916-2011) – Helen passed away peacefully on February 21st, 2011, having celebrated over 94 years of life. Affectionately know as Mére, she was predeceased by her husband Al in 1988, and is survived by her son Bob, daughter in law Carol, grandchildren Janice (Mark) & Jim (Sarah); and her four great-grandchildren Katie, Owen, Allie and Claire.   Helen’s surviving family members also include her sister Mandy, nieces Rita (Russell) & Germaine (Jack), nephew Larry (Dolores), as well her loving and attentive brother in law Jim Cusson & sister in law Beth Cusson.  Helen will be greatly missed by her family and also her close friends, especially those who have cared for her so well in these last years, Huguette, Bert, Metta, Wilda, Tony and Stephanie.  She was an active member of the Catholic Faith and attended Sacred Heart Church for over 50 yrs.  Friends may call at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia on Thursday, February 24th between 7-9 pm. where prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday February 25th at 11 am.
