Obituary of Christina Helen Crickard

CRICKARD (PALUCH), Christina Helen – It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Chris at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at the age of 56.  Cherished mother of Amy (Darian) Bobby, Adrienne (Steve) Hunter and Michael Crickard (Lindsay Manor).  Loving gramma of Brynn, Cameron, Kyla and Madeline.  Dear sister of Ted (Sandy) Paluch and aunt of Jennifer (Jay) Crawford and their son Chase, Jessica Morris, Kyle, Andrea and Cassandra-Lyn.  Also survived by the father of her children Bob Crickard.  Predeceased by her parents Edward (1994) and Leokadia (2005).  Chris will be sadly missed but also remembered for the wonderful and caring person she was by her family and many cherished friends.  Chris was employed at Nova and prior to that Polysar for many years.  Special thanks to Dr. Dostaler, the staff at Bluewater Health’s Oncology Department and the home care nurse Heather Malott for their compassion and excellent care.  The family will receive relatives and friends at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Peter Keller at Sacred Heart Church (1465 Lecaron at Charlesworth) on Wednesday, March 9th at 11:30 a.m. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
