RIOPELLE, Florence – At Marshall Gowland Manor on Thursday, March 17, 2011, Florence passed away with her family be her side at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Ernest (1983). Dear mother of Gerald (Betty) Riopelle, Sarnia, Normand (Suzanne) Riopelle, Mount Brydges, and Louise (Luc) Jacques, Sarnia. Very special friend of Claudette Riopelle, Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Marc (Jacinta) Riopelle, Guy (Jocelyne) Riopelle, Paulette (Jeff) Jones, London, Rachelle (Steve) Johnson, Appin, Rob Riopelle, Sarnia and his friend Michelle, Port Huron, Nicole and her friend Fabian, Burgessville, Irene (Mark) Kaltz, Columbus, Michigan and Donald (Sharon) Coulombe, Alberta, B.C. Great-grandmother of 15. Sister of Blanche Sasseville, Sarnia. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Florence Mary Scott, James Dubreuil, step-mother Annette, brothers Clarence, Frank and Wallace Dubreuil and sisters Beatrice Proulx and Margaret Holtman. Florence was a member of Les Dames Auxilliaires at St. Thomas Aquinas Church and the Club D’Age D’Or la Gaitee. The family would like to thank all the staff of Iris Floor at Marshall Gowland Manor for all their care, love, compassion and patience toward our mother. Every one of you is very special.  Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Robert Champagne at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, 475 N.
