LEBLANC, Anastasia – At Afton Park Place on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Leo. Dear mother of Diane (Richard Sandstrom) Spence, Vancouver Island and Dennis (Trudie) LeBlanc, Thunder Bay. Loving grandmother of Sarah (Scott) Vass, Vancouver and Scott LeBlanc, Thunder Bay. Sister of Joe Helferty, Sarnia, Jerry (Mary) Helferty, Smith’s Falls and Dorienn (Noreen) Helferty, Latchford Bridge. Predeceased by sisters Cecilia Helferty, Helen Moysey and Margaret Purney and brother Tom Helferty. She had a rewarding career spanning 40 years as a Registered Nurse. After residing for 25 years in Noranda, Quebec, Stasia and family settled in Sarnia in 1963. She was a devout Catholic and a proud member of the C.W.L. The family will receive friends at St. Benedict’s Church on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 from 12:30 p.m. until time of service. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Ross Bartley at St. Benedict’s Church on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the C.N.I.B., 749 Baseline Rd.
