Obituary of Alice Ida Pettit

PETTIT, Alice Ida – At her home with family by her side on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, Alice died at the age of 65.  Beloved wife of Paul for 44 years.  Loving mother of Paula (Roy) Goodall, Pam (Steve) Noordam and Trish Vaillancourt.  Proud grandmother of Jake Goodall, Sydney Vaillancourt and Lyndsey Noordam.  Dear sister of Dora VanGaver and sister-in-law of Bernie Pettit, Murray (Bonnie) Pettit.  Predeceased by her parents Preston and Dora McDonald, step-brother Jim Holden and step-sister Barrie Martin.  Alice was a longtime employee at Zellers.  Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church on Monday, April 4th at 11 a.m. Interment Lakeview Cemetery.
