Obituary of Marion Jean Shrigley

SHRIGLEY, Marion –Passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Dean for 64 years. Dear mother of Richard (Cindy) Shrigley, Sarnia, Lynn (Mike) Durand, Windsor and Carole Shrigley, Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Christopher, Craig and Heather Durand and Tina Shrigley. Great-grandmother of Carter, Nigel and Kahlen Durand. Sister of Ruth Ann (Roger) Legault, Sarnia, Carol (Ken) Hillier, Owen Sound and Sharron Karn, Sarnia. Sister-in-law of Dianne Millier, Sarnia. Predeceased by parents Albert & Gertrude Millier, brother Robert Millier and sister Helen Parks. Marion was a member of the Catholic Women's League and the Sacred Heart Church choir. She was a 27 year volunteer at Bluewater Health. Visitation will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Vince Gulikers at Sacred Heart Church on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 10 a.m. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
