Obituary of Dorothy May Gough

GOUGH (nee Garen), Dorothy “Dee” May – Peacefully surrounded by her family at Bluewater Health – Palliative Care on Friday, April 22, 2011 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of 70 years of George. Dear mother of Karen (Richard) Gauthier-Wills, Red Deer, Alberta, David (Shirley) Gough, Sarnia, Jim (Jenny) Gough, Bright’s Grove and Mary Jane (Mike) Franchuk, Bright’s Grove. Loving grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 15. Also surviving are her good friends Lynn Snider and Maureen Young. Predeceased by a sister Gwen Fisher, son-in-law Andre Gauthier and daughter-in-law Georgia Gough. Dorothy was a lifetime member of Delta Chi International Sorority, Nu Chapter.Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy chapel on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 2 p.m. and will be officiated by Bill Strachan. Family interment will take place at a later date.
